Medication management refers to the process of monitoring and controlling the usage of medications by individuals. When it comes to mental health, healthcare professionals can prescribe medication as part of a treatment plan for conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and others.
Research reveals that medicine alone cannot adequately address mental health problems; however, some prescribers provide prescriptions without encouraging a mental health follow-up. At Interlinked Counseling, we offer medication management as well as mental health counseling. .
Psychiatristss and Psych Nurses will determine the appropriate treatment plan for individuals based on a combination of factors, including the symptoms, concerns, and medical history disclosed during the evaluation. They will conducted a thorough assessment of a peron's mental health, which may involve asking questions and administering relevant measures and scales.
